Italian flavours in the grand palace

Umarell is an Italian restaurant located in the historic Dickson Palace in Gothenburg. On the entrance floor, you’ll find both a dining room and a bar, where the focus is on Italian cuisine with carefully selected ingredients. Behind the restaurant are the well-known personalities Oliver Ingrosso and Louise Johansson, who share the ambition to create a welcoming place that offers high-quality food and service - without being pretentious. Oliver brings his passion for Italy and its flavors, while Louise contributes her experience and craftsmanship from some of Sweden’s top kitchens.

Custom-painted cooling counters in the bar

We were entrusted with delivering a stainless steel bartender’s counter and sinks, custom-lacquered refrigerated counters and glass freezers for the bar, as well as the large, cabinet-style wine cooler clad in woodwork in the restaurant’s chambre séparée. All refrigeration units were supplied by Haglund Industri. Ice machines for both cube and crushed ice came from NTF and Hoshizaki. In the kitchen, a Twin Go cooking suite from Palux was installed, featuring a plancha grill, induction hob, pasta cooker, and salamander with refrigerated drawers underneath. Ovens from Rational, a deep fryer from FriFri, a mixer from Agrenco, and pass-through warming cabinets from Gastroteknik were also included. Refrigerated counters, cooling rails, freezer benches, and refrigerators were supplied by Haglund Industri. In the dishwashing area, a tunnel dishwasher from Wexiödisk and a UC-M Excellence glasswasher from Winterhalter with built-in osmosis for spotless glassware were installed.

Yes, many models are designed for built-in installation with front ventilation. We also offer custom solutions with stainless-steel fronts or custom finishes.
