Production kitchen for 7-Eleven’s packaged food

In an industrial area in Spånga, this new production kitchen of just over 1,000 square meters manufactures and packages all salads, wraps, and sandwiches belonging to the Panini Internazionale x 7-Eleven product range for distribution to stores across the country. 7-Eleven is one of Sweden’s largest convenience store chains, known for its wide selection of fast food, beverages, and easily accessible everyday products. The franchisor is Reitan Convenience Sweden, which operates the brands Pressbyrån, 7-Eleven, and Pressbyrån PBX, with around 400 stores nationwide. The group focuses on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and local responsibility, with each store run by independent retailers.

Packaging machines and shelving systems

For this production kitchen, we were entrusted with delivering the packaging machines with accessories from Finnvacum, all custom-made stainless steel fittings for the various preparation and packing rooms, as well as tailor-made shelving systems for all cold rooms, freezer rooms, and packing areas. In addition, a mixing machine from Agrenco, slicing machines and professional scales from Berkel, a combi oven from Rational, vegetable cutters from Robot Coupe, a blast chiller from Haglund Industri, and a baler from Orwak were installed. In the dishwashing area, a WD-12 heavy-duty washer with a foldable rack from Wexiödisk was installed. We also supplied all utensils, ranging from gastronorm containers, plastic crates, and cutting boards to whisks, ladles, and knives.
